Our Classrooms

We provide a play enriched learning environment where children learn to make sense of the world around them through play.

Let's Play!!

Infant and Wobbler

The main focus in the infant room is to make sure each infant is loved and has all their needs met.  We follow recommended routines given by parents/guardians and will do everything we can to meet all expectations.  When each child is dropped off or picked up, the teacher talks with each parent/guardian and any comments, questions or concerns are addressed. Communication is the key to a happy baby at Sugarplums Learning Center.

Toddler

In the Bumblebees class, the teachers will focus a lot of their time getting the children emotionally ready for the preschool room.  Such things include becoming comfortable with a stable routine, joining together for a group or story time and participating in daily art projects. We will touch on potty training with your child.  Potty training is a natural thing and every child will reach their goal when ready.

PreSchool

Students in this classroom should be potty trained. Programs are designed to promote physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. The staff works to create an atmosphere in which each child is accepted and supported. To accomplish this, staff members assist the children with learning to function in a group, recognizing and expressing their emotions and developing techniques for effective problem solving. Children will participate in kindergarten readiness activities. In addition, guidelines and limits are established to insure a physically and emotionally non-threatening and safe environment for all.
